6/25/2022 5 Comments TOWN CARNIVAL: HOMIES and community at Arrojo Viejo Park in East Oakland #TOWNNIGHTS June 24thWe had so much fun being at the TOWN NIGHT's TOWN CARNAVAL with our beautiful community in Oakland yesterday. Our next Town Carnaval is on July 8th. See you then. With over 300 folks in attendance, we ran out of our 250 cups and burritos in less than 2 hours, Town Nights hosted by Homies Empowerment Program/Adelante was a great success. It took a barrio. All the staff at Homies worked so hard to make it successful. Diego A. Rodriguez Zamora took about 10 trips to bring everything there. So thankful to Noel Gallo , Janet Stickmon , Isai Hurtado , Juma Crawford, Aaron Ortiz, Newin Orante , Gary Yee and Mike Hutchinson who all graciously went into the dunk tank. All in all it was wonderful! How did it go for you? See you at the next one Friday July 8th at Arroyo Park. Please join our Homies Empowerment Solidarity movement.
